Qualifications

Job description

FinXL is currently seeking experienced Senior Software Engineer (SAP S/4HANA, U15, ABAP, Angular, and Node JS) to lead software development projects and provide high-level technical leadership. You will be responsible for the quality and functionality of the software produced by your team, ensuring strict adherence to system development standards, security standards, and guidelines.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the analysis, prototyping, design, software development, unit testing, and maintenance activities for highly complex development solutions.
• Develop robust strategies to ensure high-quality code and the long-term maintenance of the product's code base.
• Lead release processes, ensuring go-live production support and post-release reviews can be rolled back as needed.
• Lead and manage staff to drive performance and engagement through coaching, capability development, performance management, and health and well-being support.
• Review and undertake high-level analysis of technical requirements, investigating and resolving highly complex ICT issues.
• Engage and manage stakeholder relationships, partnering with other agencies and service providers to build service delivery capability.
• Monitor emerging technologies to assess impacts, threats, and opportunities to the organisation, creating reports and technology roadmaps.

About you:

You will have prior experience within government or a similar large-scale organisation. You will demonstrate technical responsibility across all stages of software development and system integration.

Essential Skills & Technical Expertise:

• Strong technical background with preferred skills in SAP S/4HANA, U15, ABAP, Angular, and Node JS.
• Ability to quickly acquire in-depth knowledge of agency frameworks, legislation, privacy, ethics, and security protocols.
• Demonstrated capability aligning in Programming/Software Development, Systems Design, Systems Integration and Build, Software Configuration, and Release and Deployment.
• Demonstrated capability aligning in Software Design, Testing, and Specialist Advice.
