Job summary

cbs APAC is expanding its SAP consulting presence in Australia. We seek an experienced SAP Senior MM Consultant to deliver S/4HANA MM solutions, drive procurement and inventory processes, and work across APAC and global teams.

You will participate in implementation, data migration, and go-live activities, with stakeholder engagement and pre-sales contributions. The role is based in Sydney or Brisbane, Australia, with a strong emphasis on ownership, solution design and cross‑border collaboration

Qualifications

• 6–10 years of SAP consulting experience with strong hands‑on experience in SAP MM.
• Strong understanding of procurement, purchasing, inventory management, material valuation, and integration with other SAP modules.
• Hands‑on experience with SAP S/4HANA implementation or transformation projects.
• Experience in SAP configuration, testing, data migration and/or go‑live activities.
• Experience working with integrations, interfaces, APIs or third‑party systems is an advantage.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and stakeholder‑management skills.
• Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.
• Strong consulting mindset with the ability to work independently and take ownership.
• Collaborative and entrepreneurial approach, with the ability to work across Australia, APAC and global teams.
• A degree in Business, Supply Chain, Information Technology, Engineering or a related discipline is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Work with business stakeholders to understand requirements across Procurement and Inventory Management processes.
• Deliver SAP S/4HANA solutions for SAP MM, supporting purchasing, procurement, material management, inventory management and material valuation.
• Participate in SAP implementation, transformation and optimisation projects.
• Configure SAP MM solutions and translate business requirements into effective functional designs.
• Work on integration between SAP MM, SD, FI/CO, EWM and other SAP modules, as well as third‑party systems.
• Participate in workshops, solution design, testing, data migration, cutover and go‑live activities.
• Prepare functional specifications and work closely with technical teams.
• Support customers through post‑go‑live activities and continuous improvement.
• Contribute to pre‑sales, solution discussions and customer engagements where required.
• Collaborate with SAP teams across Australia, APAC and the global cbs organisation.
