Job summary

Austrade in Canberra is seeking a Senior SAP Developer to work with Corporate Systems across Finance, Procurement and other areas. You will gather requirements, design, code, test and document SAP solutions, including reports, interfaces and forms, while providing production support.

You will translate business needs into robust technical designs, optimise performance, support integrations, and mentor the team to enhance SAP security and stability across the environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years' experience with SAP ECC 6.0+
• Strong SAP FICO knowledge and Procure-to-Pay processes
• Experience with SAP interfaces and reports (RICEF/WRICEF)
• Ability to translate business requirements into technical designs
• Ability to work independently in complex environments

Responsibilities

• Deliver SAP development, configuration, enhancement and support services across SAP ECC environment, including requirements gathering and documentation.
• Develop and maintain SAP reports, interfaces, conversions, enhancements and forms.
• Analyse, troubleshoot and resolve SAP defects and production issues.
• Provide specialist SAP FICO and Procurement module expertise and collaborate with stakeholders.
• Support SAP integrations with internal and external systems.
• Perform performance tuning and code optimisation to improve SAP performance.
• Contribute to ERP readiness and cloud migration planning and knowledge transfer across the team
