Job summary

IT Alliance Australia is seeking an experienced SAP FICO consultant for a long-term Federal Government contract in Canberra. The role requires at least 5 years of hands-on SAP FICO experience, including financial reporting, compliance, and Procure-to-Pay processes, with strong knowledge of ECC 6.0 or higher.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years’ experience with SAP ECC 6.0 or higher environments.
• Strong expertise in SAP FICO including financial reporting, compliance and finance business processes.
• Experience with SAP Procurement modules and Procure-to-Pay processes.
• Proven ability to develop and support SAP reports, interfaces, conversions, enhancements and forms (RICEF/WRICEF).
• Strong skills in SAP troubleshooting, defect resolution, root cause analysis and production support.
• Experience designing, developing and supporting integrations between SAP and external systems, including web services and interfaces.
• Ability to translate business requirements into technical designs and solutions.
• Experience developing test scenarios and supporting user acceptance testing and implementation activities.
• Strong understanding of SAP security (roles, profiles, permissions, access controls).
• Experience code optimisation, performance tuning and continuous improvement to SAP system performance.

Job description

One of our Federal Government Clients is seeking to engage a SAP FICO . This is a long-term contractual position.

Contract Duration: 03 Years (12 months initially + 24 months extension)

Work Location: Canberra (03 Days office/02 Days home per week)

Eligibility: You must need to have NV1 Security Clearance or above.

Mandatory Skills & Experience

• Minimum 5 years’ experience developing, configuring and supporting SAP ECC 6.0 or higher environments.
• Strong expertise in SAP Finance and Controlling (SAP FICO), including financial reporting, compliance and finance business processes.
• Experience with SAP Procurement modules and Procure-to-Pay business processes.
• Proven capability to develop and support SAP reports, interfaces, conversions, enhancements and forms (RICEF/WRICEF objects).
• Strong skills in SAP troubleshooting, defect resolution, root cause analysis and production support.
• Experience designing, developing and supporting integrations between SAP and external systems, including web services and interfaces.
• Ability to gather and analyse business requirements and translate them into technical designs and solutions.
• Experience developing test scenarios, supporting user acceptance testing and managing implementation activities.
• Strong understanding of SAP security, including roles, profiles, permissions and application access controls.
• Experience performing code optimisation, performance tuning and continuous improvement activities to enhance SAP system performance and user experience.
• Ability to work independently in complex environments while managing multiple priorities across projects, support and enhancement activities.
• Strong technical documentation, knowledge transfer and stakeholder engagement skills, including the ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
