Job summary

Experis Australia is seeking an experienced SAP ABAP Developer to join a large, complex enterprise undergoing SAP transformation. You will design, develop and support SAP solutions across ECC and S/4HANA, delivering both project-based and operational work.

You will collaborate with analysts and functional teams, build SAPUI5/Fiori apps, and create integrations using OData, RFC/BAPI, IDoc and middleware such as MuleSoft or SAP CPI.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience as an SAP ABAP Developer.
• Experience with ABAP Objects and Enhancement Framework.
• Familiarity with SAPUI5/Fiori is desirable.
• Experience in SAP integrations (OData, RFC/BAPI, IDocs, SAP Gateway).
• Knowledge of middleware (MuleSoft, SAP CPI/Integration Suite, Dell Boomi).
• Strong API design understanding and enterprise integration patterns.
• Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test and support SAP ABAP solutions across ECC and S/4HANA.
• Develop reports, interfaces, conversions, enhancements, forms and workflows.
• Build and support REST, SOAP and OData-based integrations.
• Develop and enhance SAPUI5 and Fiori applications.
• Support SAP Gateway services and enterprise API development.
• Work with integration platforms including SAP CPI, MuleSoft and similar middleware technologies.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex SAP development and integration issues.
• Participate in code reviews, performance optimisation and technical documentation.
• Ensure solutions align with SAP development standards and S/4HANA best practices.
