Job summary

Recruitment Hive is seeking a Senior Salesforce Developer for a Federal Government agency in Canberra to integrate between Salesforce and external systems using APIs. You will develop and maintain Salesforce solutions including LWC and Experience Cloud, with Apex and configuration.

Ideal candidates have enterprise Salesforce experience, certifications, and familiarity with integration patterns; OmniStudio/Vlocity is a plus.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience developing Salesforce-based solutions within enterprise environments.
• Strong knowledge of LWC, Experience Cloud, Apex and platform configuration.
• Experience integrating Salesforce with external systems using APIs and contemporary integration patterns.
• Experience delivering accessible digital services and applying accessibility standards.
• Experience with source control and automated deployment processes.
• Salesforce certifications such as Admin, Platform App Builder or Platform Developer (desirable).
• Experience with Salesforce Industries (Vlocity) and OmniStudio (desirable).

Our client, an independent Federal Government agency responsible for implementing and administering the National Disability Insurance Scheme, require the services of a Senior Salesforce Developer.

Duties of the Senior Salesforce Developer

• Develop, test & maintain Salesforce solutions, including Lightning Web Components (LWC), Experience Cloud, Apex & platform configurations.
• Contribute to the development of secure, accessible & maintainable digital services that align with platform standards & business needs;
• Participate in code reviews, testing activities, release processes & continuous improvement initiatives to improve quality & delivery outcomes;
• Support integration activities between Salesforce & external systems using APIs, authentication providers & established integration patterns;
• Utilise contemporary development tools & practices to improve productivity, quality & delivery efficiency.

Skills and Experience Required

• Demonstrated experience developing Salesforce‑based solutions within enterprise environments;
• Strong technical knowledge & hands‑on experience with Lightning Web Components (LWC), Experience Cloud, Apex & Salesforce platform configuration;
• Demonstrated experience developing integrations between Salesforce & external systems using APIs & contemporary integration patterns;
• Experience delivering accessible digital services & applying accessibility standards & inclusive design principles throughout the software development lifecycle;
• Experience working with source control, automated deployment processes & modern software development practices;
• Salesforce certifications such as Administrator, Platform App Builder or Platform Developer (desired);
• Experience with Salesforce Industries (Vlocity), including Integration Procedures, OmniStudio & related platform capabilities (desired).
