Job description

Senior Sales Support & Events Coordinator

Directioneering is Australia’s largest privately owned provider of career management services. For over two decades, we've guided senior executives through critical career transitions, helping them redefine success and find new purpose in their professional lives.

We are seeking a key team member to support our Brisbane Director — someone who thrives behind the scenes, takes pride in enabling success, and provides a calm, steady hand that keeps operations running smoothly. This is an office-based role in our premium Brisbane CBD offices, with the option for full-time or part-time work (minimum 3 days/week). You’ll work closely with our Director (QLD) and become part of a small, high-performing, collaborative team, with exposure to both client delivery and operational excellence across state and national functions.

If you’re someone who values being the right hand to a senior leader, enjoys bringing structure and support to a dynamic environment, and takes satisfaction in knowing your contribution is pivotal to the bigger picture, this role could be a perfect fit.

What You’ll Bring

You’re likely someone who sees themselves as the quiet achiever — someone who enables others to shine while making a significant impact in your own right. We’re looking for a mature-minded, dependable team player who brings:

  • Proven experience supporting senior executives or sales teams
  • A calm, empathic communication style and professional presence
  • The ability to manage small executive-style events and projects with ease
  • A natural inclination to support, organise, and anticipate needs
  • A love of systems, structure, and clear priorities — but can adapt when plans change
  • Strong skills in Microsoft Office, digital meeting platforms, and CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot)
  • Impeccable attention to detail, presentation, and time management
  • A passion for creating a warm, welcoming, and polished environment for clients and colleagues alike

Experience in HR, organisational development, or talent-related environments is a bonus — but more important is your proactive attitude, reliability, and genuine desire to be part of a team where everyone plays a vital role.

Why This Role?

Because here, you’ll be more than just an assistant — you’ll be a key enabler, a trusted partner to the Director, and someone whose efforts are seen, appreciated, and valued.

If you’re looking for a long-term role where you can be involved in all areas of the business, work with inspiring people, and know that your support makes a real difference — we’d love to hear from you.
