Qualifications

• Must have system safety engineering knowledge and ability to develop safety plans.
• Experience coordinating, directing and evaluating system safety activities.
• Ability to produce safety specifications, plans and hazard analyses.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver system safety engineering services, regulatory compliance and resource management.
• Coordinate, direct and evaluate system safety activities in a Capability Life Cycle environment.
• Conduct capability development within the system safety program.
• Conduct system safety analysis, development and V&V.
• Provide advice on system safety engineering techniques and software assurance.
• Evaluate technical and design packages from a safety perspective.
• Conduct reviews of contract deliverables.
• Exercise Technical Authority delegations.
• Follow CASG and SPO strategic safety direction.
