Job summary

Qualifications

• Four-year engineering degree recognised under the Washington Accord.
• Recognition as Chartered Professional Engineer or equivalent.
• Minimum one-year experience within a materiel system safety program.
• Engineers Australia Professional Engineering Stage 2 competencies.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver system safety engineering services, regulatory compliance, resource management, and project outcomes.
• Coordinate, direct and evaluate system safety activities in a CASG environment.
• Conduct capability and concept development.
• Perform system safety analysis, development, and V&V.
• Provide advice on system safety techniques and software assurance for design and implementation.
• Review contract deliverables and related safety documents.
• Develop safety specifications, plans, procedures and reports.
• Produce hazard analyses and safety case documentation.
• Prepare design documents and specialist engineering reports.
