Job summary

Zerra's Western Downs Digital Park (WDDP) in Queensland seeks a Senior Manager, Safety to own HSE delivery across the campus construction and future buildings. You will lead safety governance, manage IIF culture, and ensure compliance with Queensland WorkSafe and Zerra standards.

Reporting to the HSE Director, APAC, you will define the HSE plan, supervise site safety personnel, drive incident investigations, and deliver monthly dashboards.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of progressive HSE experience in complex, high-risk construction.
• Experience managing principal contractor HSE obligations under Australian WorkSafe jurisdictions.
• Experience embedding HSE requirements into GC/vendor contracts and enforcement.
• Experience leading incident investigations and corrective action closure on live construction sites.
• Queensland regulatory experience is highly regarded.

Responsibilities

• Model visible safety leadership with regular site visits and direct worker engagement.
• Enforce stop-work authority and empower workers to stop unsafe work.
• Own the WDDP IIF culture end to end from induction to handover.
• Define and own the WDDP HSE plan, KPIs and resourcing.
• Report safety performance and contribute to the ESG and APAC forums.
