Job summary

Zerra is seeking a Planning Leader for Western Downs Digital Park in Queensland. The role oversees the campus-wide master programme, ensuring seamless integration of pre-construction and construction delivery, while maintaining rigorous governance and risk reporting.

You will lead the planning function, drive handover protocols, and coordinate cross-building programmes to ensure on-time delivery in a complex, multi-phase data centre campus environment.

Qualifications

• 12+ years in project planning, scheduling or programme-controls leadership in construction or infrastructure
• Experience leading mega-project programmes
• Proven track record developing Planning Managers and scheduling consultants
• Australian construction delivery experience, ideally Queensland
• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related discipline
• PMP/PRINCE2/AIPM is highly regarded

Responsibilities

• Own the campus-wide master programme integrating current and future buildings.
• Design and enforce planning governance and handover protocols for scalable delivery.
• Lead and scale the planning function; manage Planning Managers and scheduling consultants.
• Chair risk reviews and consolidate campus risk reporting for executive oversight.
• Align the master programme with capital forecasting and funding timelines across spend.
• Provide executive-facing dashboards and status reports for governance
• Drive cross-building coordination and escalation of interdependencies.
