Your resume and cover letter, tailored to exactly what they’re hiring for.
Australia Post is seeking a Senior Safety Business Partner to influence senior leaders across our national Parcels, Post & eCommerce Services portfolio. You’ll translate HSW policy into practical solutions, identify psychosocial and physical risks, and coach leaders to improve safety outcomes.
The role spans contact centres, corporate functions and international operations, with opportunities to shape how safety is embedded in transformation efforts.
Being in a business support role at Australia Post means helping our people deliver for every Australian. Just like our Posties, you’re still the people behind every parcel. Whatever your team or role, you’re helping grow our people, grow our business and making a lasting impact on the Australian community. You’ll find a culture of connection in our great people and the flexibility to balance work with life outside of it.
This is not a traditional safety role.
We’re looking for a Senior Safety Business Partner who enjoys understanding how a business works, influencing senior leaders and solving complex operational, people and customer challenges. You’ll partner across our Parcels, Post & eCommerce Services (PPeCS) portfolio, spanning Customer Success, Sales, eCommerce Growth, Customer Transformation and International Product & Operations. It’s a genuinely diverse national portfolio. You’ll work across contact centres, corporate and support functions, customer‑facing teams and operational environments, including the unique safety challenges within our International business.
You’ll also have opportunities to partner with Sales and Customer Success on customer solutions and tenders, support major transformation and influence how HSW is built into new ways of working. There’s genuine scope to make the role your own, using your judgement, influence and business acumen to identify where HSW can make the biggest difference.
We’re looking for a strong business partner with broad HSW expertise, rather than someone defined by one technical specialisation.
It takes a lot of us to deliver for every Australian – and it’s important to us that our people behind the parcels reflect the people receiving them. We come from all walks. Different backgrounds, different ages, different genders, different sexualities and different abilities, but we all believe in the same purpose.
We welcome people all ages, genders and backgrounds – including Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples, people with disability, LGBTQIA+ communities, and refugees. We’re a Disability Confident Recruiter, committed to making our hiring process and workplace inclusive and barrier‑free. We’re also working hard to remove bias and build a gender‑equitable experience for everyone who joins us.
