Job summary

Australia Post is seeking a Senior Safety Business Partner to influence senior leaders across our national Parcels, Post & eCommerce Services portfolio. You’ll translate HSW policy into practical solutions, identify psychosocial and physical risks, and coach leaders to improve safety outcomes.

The role spans contact centres, corporate functions and international operations, with opportunities to shape how safety is embedded in transformation efforts.

Qualifications

• Significant experience partnering with senior leaders in a large, complex organisation.
• Strong business and commercial acumen.
• Broad experience across physical safety, psychosocial risk, wellbeing and operational risk.
• The ability to navigate ambiguity, transformation and competing priorities.

Responsibilities

• Partner with senior leaders across a complex national portfolio.
• Identify emerging physical and psychosocial risks using data and operational insight.
• Coach leaders to strengthen HSW capability and decision-making.
• Translate enterprise HSW strategy into practical solutions for the business.
• Partner with customer-facing teams on tenders, requirements and safety challenges.
• Support transformation and embed HSW into new ways of working.
• Lead and contribute to HSW governance, risk and wellbeing initiatives.
• Connect the business with specialist expertise across the HSW function.
