Meta is hiring a detail-oriented Verification & Validation Engineer to join its humanoid robotics team. You will own the end-to-end V&V lifecycle for the humanoid robot platform, defining plans, building test beds, and ensuring safety and reliability in real-world scenarios.

You will collaborate with safety, design, software, and systems teams, develop compliant test strategies for hardware, firmware, and AI, and drive root-cause analysis to implement effective corrective actions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
• 7+ years of hands-on verification & validation for complex safety-critical systems (robotics, autonomous vehicles, aerospace, or medical devices).
• Experience developing sophisticated test environments including full system integration testbeds and automated test cells.
• Proven experience developing and executing V&V plans for hardware-software systems.
• Working knowledge of functional safety standards (IEC 61508, ISO 13849 or ISO 26262).
• Working knowledge of robotics/autonomy standards (ISO 13482, UL 3300, ISO 10218, UL4600, ISO 21448).

Responsabilités

• Own and execute the verification and validation lifecycle for the humanoid robot platform, ensuring comprehensive test coverage from concept to deployment and updates.
• Develop and document V&V plans, including test strategies, test cases, and test procedures for hardware, software, firmware, and AI.
• Design, build, and maintain sophisticated test environments including full system integration testbeds and automated test cells.
• Establish traceability between system requirements, safety requirements, and V&V test cases using Jama, Polarion, DOORS.
• Lead root cause analysis of failures and anomalies; document and report findings.
• Develop, execute, and document V&V testing to demonstrate compliance with IEC 61508, ISO 13482, ISO 10218.
• Collaborate with functional safety, design, software, and systems integration teams to align V&V with safety goals.
