Job summary

Gilmour Space Technologies in Australia is seeking a Senior Robotics Software Engineer to design algorithms and implement flight-critical software for rocket systems delivering satellites to orbit.

You will work with a multidisciplinary team to develop, analyse, test and operate launch vehicles and subsystems, ensuring robust performance in challenging environments. Strong programming in Python/C++, CI, Linux, and NV1 clearance are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Physics or Aerospace/Aeronautical/Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or related STEM field
• 4+ years in GNC, Flight Software or robotics design
• Proven collaboration in fast-paced teams under pressure
• Proficient in Python, MATLAB or similar high-level languages
• Proficient in C/C++ and git workflows
• Experience with software verification, CI, and Systems Engineering framework
• Ability to obtain NV1 Security Clearance

Responsibilities
