Job summary

RPS, a Tetra Tech company, seeks an experienced Risk Manager to lead project risk across a prominent Defence assignment in Western Australia. You will own risk management plans, maintain the risk register and drive quantitative analyses with Monte Carlo methods, coordinating with planning, cost control and delivery teams.

You will support business development, client relationships, and strategic risk advice to ensure high-quality, profitable outcomes.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of project practitioner experience in risk management.
• Proven ability to own and drive risk management across large projects.
• Experience facilitating internal/external risk workshops and reporting.
• Strong business acumen with the ability to translate risks into actions.
• Experience with Monte Carlo risk modelling and quantitative input review.

Responsibilities

• Own the risk management function for Defence project, developing plans.
• Maintain Risk Register with monthly updates and quarterly deep dives.
• Facilitate risk workshops and coordinate with risk owners and teams.
• Collate Monte Carlo inputs and guide QA of quantitative outputs.
• Support growth in WA practice across Energy, Ports and Water sectors.
• Provide strategic risk insights to clients and project leadership.
