Job summary

RPS in WA is seeking a Senior Risk Manager to lead risk management for a prominent Defence project. You will own the risk function, maintain risk registers, run workshops, and guide inputs to Monte Carlo modelling.

You will support the WA Practice Lead in growing the WA business in Energy, Ports and Water sectors, manage client relationships, and contribute to proposals. Australian citizenship and Baseline/NV1 clearance preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience as a risk practitioner leading risk management on large complex projects.
• Ability to facilitate internal/external risk workshops with thorough preparation.
• Proven capability to collate inputs for quantitative modelling and defend outputs.
• Strong client networking and relationship-building in a WA/Defence context.

Responsibilities

• Own the risk management function: develop/maintain Risk Management Plan and framework.
• Support Planning and Delivery teams in identifying risks/opportunities; drive mitigation actions.
• Maintain the project risk register with monthly updates and periodic deep-dive reviews.
• Collaborate with cost controllers and planners to incorporate inputs into Monte Carlo models.
• Present and facilitate workshops; provide strategic commercial input to projects.
