Job summary

CBUS Super is seeking a Senior Analyst, Monitoring, Controls & Governance in Melbourne to strengthen risk and control environments across Strategy & Growth. You will identify and assess risks, maintain GRC records, coordinate control testing and drive remediation actions to closure.

You will connect effective controls with confident decision-making by producing evidence-backed reporting for governance forums and regulatory readiness, partnering with Regulatory Affairs and Group Risk.

Qualifications

• Experience in risk, controls, assurance, audit or remediation within superannuation or another regulated financial services environment.
• Capability in control testing, identifying control gaps, supporting root cause analysis and remediation tracking.
• Knowledge of operational risk and prudential requirements relevant to superannuation, including CPS 230.
• Experience using a Governance, Risk & Compliance platform, such as Archer, to maintain traceable, evidence-backed records.
• A relevant tertiary qualification, strong stakeholder engagement skills and clear written communication for governance audiences.

Responsibilities

• Support design, operation, testing and continuous improvement of controls across Strategy & Growth.
• Maintain risk, control, issue, incident and remediation records with clear owners and due dates.
• Identify, assess, monitor and elevate risks, and support practical treatment plans.
• Coordinate audit actions, regulatory review inputs and compliance evidence with Regulatory Affairs and stakeholders.
• Prepare clear risk and compliance reporting for governance forums.
