Job summary

Colonial First State in Sydney is seeking a Manager - Risk & Control Advisory and Delivery to lead the design and embedding of risk controls across our distribution business unit.

You will partner with risk, compliance and legal teams to ensure robust risk management, governance and regulatory compliance, while guiding stakeholders and delivering improvements to customer outcomes. The role is a 12-month fixed-term contract based in Sydney.

Qualifications

• Experience identifying and mitigating operational risks.
• Ability to design and implement controls and tests.
• Strong communication and influencing skills.
• Experience facilitating risk workshops.
• Knowledge of governance and compliance frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with risk management framework and policies.
• Manage risk matters including privacy alerts.
• Develop, enhance, and monitor controls and test activities.
• Conduct risk assessments for initiatives and regulatory changes.
• Lead risk training and workshops.
