Job summary

Challenger Limited is seeking a Senior Risk & Compliance Manager - Investments in our Sydney CBD office with a hybrid work arrangement. You will partner with the Group CIO, COO and Financial Risk teams to strengthen governance, manage risk, and guide regulatory compliance for investment activities.

You will lead risk assessments, support new products and transactions, and ensure effective controls are embedded from the outset while engaging senior stakeholders across the Investments division.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in operational risk and/or compliance within financial services.
• Experience implementing risk and compliance frameworks across a diverse financial services business.
• Understanding of Corporations Act, ASIC-regulated environments and prudential requirements.

Responsibilities

• Act as a trusted Risk & Compliance advisor to senior stakeholders, guiding licensing, regulation, operational risk and governance.
• Provide risk and compliance support for transactions, new products, portfolio activity, outsourcing and business change.
• Maintain and improve risk and control registers, governance documents and GRC activity with clear ownership.
