Job summary

Insignia Financial in Sydney is seeking an experienced Manager, Risk & Compliance to partner with senior leaders, drive risk maturity, and ensure regulatory obligations are met. You will embed risk and compliance into everyday decision-making and provide pragmatic advice on complex regulatory requirements, enabling the business to navigate change with confidence.

Qualifications

6+ years' experience in risk, compliance, governance, or audit within financial services.
Experience in superannuation, wealth management, banking, or other regulated industries preferred.
Strong understanding of Australian financial services regulation and compliance requirements.
Proven ability to interpret complex regulatory obligations and provide pragmatic business advice, and support through execution.

Responsibilities

Partner with senior leaders on risk, compliance, and governance matters.
Lead the implementation and embedment of risk and compliance frameworks.
Drive a strong risk-aware culture across the Division.
Oversee risk, incident, issue, breach, and remediation management.
Provide regulatory advice and guidance on legislative change.
Support business projects and strategic initiatives with risk and compliance oversight.
Review and approve client/member communications and disclosure materials.
Prepare reporting for executives, Boards, committees, and regulators.
