Insignia Financial is seeking an experienced Manager, Risk & Compliance to partner with senior leaders and deliver high-quality risk and compliance support across a key business division. The role helps drive risk maturity, ensure regulatory obligations are met, and embeds risk considerations into everyday decision-making.

Qualifications

• 6+ years' experience in risk, compliance, governance, or audit within financial services.
• Experience in superannuation, wealth management, banking, or other regulated industries preferred.
• Strong understanding of Australian financial services regulation and compliance requirements.
• Ability to interpret complex regulatory obligations and provide pragmatic business advice and support through execution.

Responsibilities

• Partner with senior leaders on risk, compliance, and governance matters.
• Lead the implementation and embedment of risk and compliance frameworks.
• Drive a strong risk-aware culture across the Division.
• Oversee risk, incident, issue, breach, and remediation management.
• Provide regulatory advice and guidance on legislative change.
• Support business projects and strategic initiatives with risk and compliance oversight.
• Review and approve client/member communications and disclosure materials.
• Prepare reporting for executives, Boards, committees, and regulators.
