BJEI Australia is expanding its renewable energy and storage portfolio in Australia. We seek a Development Manager to identify, assess and progress new projects, with emphasis on land origination, early feasibility and coordinating the development process.

You will liaise with landowners, authorities and advisers to advance opportunities toward financial close. The role involves evaluating market conditions, coordinating environmental and planning work, and preparing compelling business cases to

Qualifications

• Experience in renewable energy development or a related area.
• Degree in a relevant discipline.
• Experience with Australian development applications and planning/environmental approvals.
• Knowledge of grid connection processes for wind, solar or BESS.
• Ability to assess project economics and contribute to commercial structuring decisions.
• Strong stakeholder management and negotiation capabilities.

Responsabilités

• Identify and progress new renewable energy and energy storage projects in Australia with focus on land origination and early-stage development.
• Coordinate site, environmental and feasibility work to determine opportunity viability.
• Lead development programs across planning, approvals and grid connection requirements.
• Engage with landowners, councils, communities and regulatory authorities.
• Prepare project proposals and business cases for financial assessment and investment submissions.
• Coordinate with engineers, consultants and advisers to ensure timely deliverables.
