Job summary

Bindaree Food Group is seeking a Senior Processing Supervisor to oversee rendering and by-products at the Cooma, NSW facility. You will lead daily operations, ensure safe product flow from kill floor to processing, and manage environmental controls.

You will collaborate with the Plant Manager and maintenance teams, maintain records and drive continuous improvement while upholding food safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Experience in rendering and by-products within red-meat processing.
• Experience leading a team as Leading Hand, Supervisor or Manager.
• Clear, practical communication in a busy plant environment.
• Flexible approach to working hours.
• Experience working with maintenance teams and identifying equipment issues early.
• MSMBLIC001 Boiler Licence is highly regarded, not essential.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily rendering and by-products operations across tallow, blood, paunch and hides.
• Keep product moving safely and efficiently from the kill floor through to processing.
• Monitor yields, product recovery, production records and waste.
• Maintain food safety, hygiene, quality and environmental requirements across the area.
• Oversee odour controls, wastewater, effluent and DAF operations, escalating issues quickly.
• Lead, train and support a small team, building strong safety, hygiene and accountability standards.
• Work closely with maintenance to reduce downtime and support preventative maintenance.
