Job summary

Bindaree Food Group’s Monbeef facility in Cooma, NSW seeks a Senior Processing Supervisor for Rendering & By-Products. Lead daily rendering operations across tallow, blood, paunch and hides, ensuring safe, compliant production from the kill floor to processing.

You’ll monitor yields, maintain food safety and environmental standards, train a small team, and collaborate with maintenance to minimise downtime while driving continuous improvement. Based in Cooma.

Qualifications

• Experience in rendering, by-products, offal or a similar area within red-meat processing.
• Experience leading a team as a Leading Hand, Supervisor or Manager.
• Clear, practical communication skills and a calm approach in a busy plant environment.
• A reliable and flexible approach to working hours.
• Experience working with maintenance teams and identifying equipment issues early.
• An MSMBLIC001 Licence to Operate a Standard Boiler is highly regarded, but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily rendering and by-products operations across tallow, blood, paunch and hides.
• Keep product moving safely and efficiently from the kill floor through to processing.
• Monitor yields, product recovery, production records and waste.
• Maintain food safety, hygiene, quality and environmental requirements across the area.
• Oversee odour controls, wastewater, effluent and DAF operations, escalating issues quickly.
• Lead, train and support a small team, building strong safety, hygiene and accountability standards.
• Work closely with maintenance to reduce downtime and support preventative maintenance.
