Talent is seeking an experienced Senior Regulatory Review Adviser to join a Victorian Government regulatory organisation. The role focuses on conducting independent reviews, assessing complaints and ensuring regulatory decisions are fair, consistent and compliant with relevant legislation.

You will identify opportunities to improve organisational processes and service delivery, work with internal stakeholders, and prepare formal findings and recommendations for escalation to external agencies

Formación

• Tertiary qualification in Law with experience in regulatory investigations, litigation or administrative decision-making.
• Strong understanding of administrative law, statutory decision-making and procedural fairness principles.
• Experience conducting internal reviews, managing complaints or undertaking complex investigations.
• Excellent analytical, written communication and report-writing skills.
• Strong stakeholder engagement skills, with government or regulatory body experience.

Responsabilidades

This role will focus on conducting independent reviews, assessing complaints and ensuring regulatory decisions are fair, consistent and compliant with relevant legislation. You will also play a key role in identifying opportunities to improve organisational processes and service delivery.

Key Responsibilities

Key Skills and Experience

• Relevant tertiary qualification in Law, with experience in regulatory investigations, litigation or administrative decision-making.
• Strong understanding of administrative law, statutory decision‑making and procedural fairness principles.
• Demonstrated experience conducting internal reviews, managing complaints or undertaking complex investigations.
• Excellent analytical, written communication and report‑writing skills, with the ability to prepare clear and well‑reasoned decisions.
• Strong stakeholder engagement skills, with experience working in government, regulatory bodies
