Job summary

The University of Sydney's Office of General Counsel invites applications for a Senior Business Analyst, Regulatory. In this fixed-term role (until July 2027), you will partner with stakeholders to deliver data-driven regulatory programs and business improvement initiatives, analysing complex requirements and shaping practical solutions.

Qualifications

• Lead business analysis activities, including requirements gathering, documentation, and functional specification development for regulatory programs and business improvement initiatives
• analyse current business processes and systems, identify gaps and opportunities, and develop practical solutions to improve operational efficiency and effectiveness
• facilitate process mapping and operating model design, including current and future state analysis, process optimisation, and continuous improvement recommendations
• engage and collaborate with stakeholders, subject matter experts, and technical teams to elicit requirements, facilitate workshops, manage risks, and build strong working relationships
• support the delivery of quality outcomes through requirements validation, testing coordination, quality assurance activities, and the implementation of standard business practices and measures
• contribute to operational readiness by developing and maintaining process documentation, training materials, user guidance, and supporting change management activities
• demonstrate a commitment to continuous learning and the adoption of new methodologies, practices, and process improvement approaches.
