Job summary

Randstad is seeking a Principal or Senior Recruitment Consultant to join our Business Support team in Sydney CBD. You will manage a fast-paced portfolio, recruiting across construction, property, engineering and retail, stepping into a hot desk with established client relationships and strong brand presence.

Backed by a supportive State Manager and a high‑performing team, you’ll have autonomy, flexibility and the resources to deliver results quickly, with a hybrid work model featuring WFH on

Qualifications

• Minimum 4+ years of recruitment agency experience.
• Proven track record in fast-paced temp/permanent desks.
• Comfortable in a target-driven environment.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Eligible for visa sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Driving Business Development: Actively hunt for new clients through target-led cold calling, sales activity and reverse marketing.
• Managing Client Portfolios: Maintain and grow a warm client portfolio with client visits to build trust and expand accounts.
• Candidate Management: Source, interview and place high-quality business support talent.
• End-to-End Recruitment: Partner with clients and candidates to deliver recruitment solutions from pitch to placement.
• Self-Management & Compliance: Manage administrative duties, pipeline data and database tracking to ensure 100% compliance.

Your Responsibilities

What we're looking for

• Recruitment Experience: A minimum of 4+ years of recruitment agency experience, with a proven track record of building a fast‑paced temporary or permanent desk.
• Resilient Sales Mindset: Comfortable working in a fast‑paced, target‑driven environment, with the confidence to handle demanding, fast‑reacting corporate and industrial clients.
• Team Player: A self‑motivated, collaborative professional who takes pride in their work and values a supportive team culture over office politics.
• Logistics: Holds a valid driver's licence.
