Job summary

Metro Trains Sydney is seeking a Senior Engineer, BRA Track to lead engineering and maintenance efforts for rail track assets. Reporting to the Principal Engineer Track & Civil, you will manage defects, remediation and risk, ensuring safe, compliant and reliable rail infrastructure across the network.

Qualifications

• Experienced Civil Engineer with passenger rail infrastructure expertise.
• Background in defect management and asset performance analysis.
• Strong knowledge of rail engineering standards and risk practices.

Responsibilities

• Manage track asset defects, remediation activities and risk assessments.
• Prepare impact notices and supporting evidence for asset-related triggers.
• Coordinate close-out of ARPs and defect management activities.
• Support delivery of maintenance programs and asset improvement initiatives.
• Analyse defect trends and asset performance to inform maintenance strategies.
