Job summary

Sydney Trains Major Works division seeks a seasoned Program Manager to lead the delivery of advanced Condition Monitoring systems for trains, tracks and infrastructure. You will oversee multi-disciplinary programs from planning through delivery, balancing scope, budget, risk and governance while driving adoption of new tech into operations.

With proven capability in large programs and vendor governance, you will mentor Project Managers and shape safer, smarter, and more reliable maintenance

Qualifications

• Proven experience delivering complex technology, engineering or operational programs.
• Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience managing vendors, contracts, governance, risk and project reporting.
• A track record of leading large, multi-disciplinary teams and delivering successful outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Lead the technological transformation of rail maintenance and reliability.
• Lead innovative technology programs that will shape the future of rail.
• Lead the delivery of cutting-edge Condition Monitoring systems that inspect trains, tracks, and infrastructure, thereby achieving safer, smarter, and more reliable maintenance outcomes.
• You’ll manage scope, budget, risk, governance, quality and stakeholder expectations; coach Project Managers to build delivery capability.
