Job summary

Multicultural Consulting Services (MCS) is recruiting a Safety Lead for a regional rail construction project in New South Wales. The role includes a Monday–Friday Sydney phase followed by a 2:1 site roster at Stockinbingal, with mobilisation to be confirmed during recruitment.

You will conduct inspections, deliver safety training, investigate incidents and lead emergency preparedness, while coordinating with regulators and stakeholders to ensure robust risk controls across the project.

Qualifications

• Qualification in OH&S or engineering is required.
• Experience on rail or infrastructure projects.
• Knowledge of construction safety standards.
• Ability to lead training and safety programs.

Responsibilities

• Conduct inspections and audits to identify hazards.
• Deliver safety education and integrate risk controls.
• Investigate incidents and implement corrective actions.
• Lead emergency preparedness and response exercises.
• Analyse safety trends and liaise with regulators.
