Job summary

Multicultural Consulting Services Pty Ltd in Wolseley, SA, is seeking a senior rail engineering leader to oversee delivery across major infrastructure projects. The role supports senior project and operations leadership with engineering, quality and delivery oversight, on a 10:4 DIDO roster.

You will coordinate engineering and construction against safety, programme, budget and quality objectives, develop construction methods, manage inspections, and drive stakeholder reporting and rail safety

Qualifications

• Engineering bachelor degree or equivalent tertiary qualification.
• Membership or eligibility for membership of Engineers Australia.
• At least five years of rail engineering experience.
• At least three years developing and managing project schedules.
• Successful experience in comparable project or business operations management.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate engineering and construction against safety, programme, budget and quality objectives.
• Interpret designs and develop construction methods and risk controls.
• Manage inspection, testing, audits and non-conformance resolution.
• Support procurement, estimates, budgets and subcontract administration.
• Coach project staff and improve delivery processes.
• Coordinate stakeholder reporting and rail safety and environmental compliance.
