Job summary

Martinus Group is seeking a Senior Project Engineer to lead the engineering side of rail services projects in Sydney. You will work with project managers, site teams and clients to ensure design, planning and handover are completed safely, on time and to specification.

Qualifications

• Degree in Civil, Mechanical or Rail Engineering (or equivalent).
• 5+ years' engineering experience, with rail project exposure.
• Strong knowledge of Australian rail standards and network access requirements.
• Proven track record delivering projects in a live rail environment.
• Clear communicator with clients and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead engineering delivery on rail infrastructure projects across the Sydney network.
• Prepare and review technical documentation, work packages, designs and as-built records.
• Manage project scope, programme, cost and variations with the Project Manager.
• Coordinate with site supervisors, subcontractors and rail network owners.
• Ensure compliance with safety, quality and environmental requirements and rail standards.
• Manage risks, conduct technical reviews and drive continuous improvement.
• Mentor graduate and junior engineers.
