Job summary

UGL Pty Limited is expanding its Mobile Technician team in Sydney, offering a permanent shift-based role based at Eveleigh / Sydenham. You will support maintenance across rolling stock, performing fault-finding, repairs, and preventative work while adhering to safety and quality standards.

We welcome mechanical or electrical trades with strong diagnostic skills and a hands-on approach. Training is provided for non-rolling stock candidates, with future progression across a growing rail network

Qualifications

• Full Australian work rights.
• Australian recognised trade qualification with Certificate of Proficiency.
• Rolling stock experience preferred, but training available for non-rolling stock candidates.

Responsibilities

• Support live running trains and prepare for revenue service at Eveleigh / Sydenham Outstation.
• Maintain rolling stock in various storage locations.
• Perform fault-finding, repairs and preventative maintenance activities.
• Work across mechanical and/or electrical systems.
• Ensure all work is completed safely, efficiently and to quality standards.
