Job summary

Qualifications

• Degree in Electrical Engineering, Systems Engineering, or related field.
• Strong hardware design experience in rail or related infrastructure.
• Experience producing installation-ready engineering documentation.

Responsibilities

• Develop rack layouts and equipment configurations with space, access and maintainability in mind.
• Define cable routing across stations, trackside, tunnel, depot and facility environments.
• Design fibre and copper terminations and interface requirements.
• Establish power supply requirements with load allocation and distribution considerations.
• Incorporate thermal and heat load constraints into hardware configurations.
• Design earthing and bonding arrangements per project requirements.
• Apply EMI/EMC principles to physical design and routing practices.
• Define equipment mounting solutions and installation constraints.
