Job summary

Jacobs is seeking a Senior Associate Electrical Engineer to join our Buildings & Places team in Perth, Western Australia. You will lead the electrical design of building services across healthcare, defence, transport and data centre sectors, guiding multidisciplinary teams to deliver high‑quality outcomes.

You’ll mentor engineers, manage client relationships, and contribute to growth initiatives while working within Jacobs’ global engineering and professional services network.

Qualifications

• Degree in Electrical Engineering and eligibility for Engineers Australia membership.
• Significant consulting experience delivering building services projects.
• Experience across healthcare, defence, transport, commercial, life sciences or mission critical facilities.
• Strong technical capability and experience leading project delivery teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead the delivery of electrical engineering design across a diverse portfolio of building services projects.
• Work across healthcare, defence, transport, commercial, life sciences and mission critical sectors.
• Provide technical leadership throughout all phases of project delivery, from concept through to construction.
• Manage project teams to achieve quality, programme and commercial objectives.
• Develop and maintain trusted relationships with clients, contractors and delivery partners.
• Support work winning pursuits and strategic growth initiatives.
• Mentor and develop engineers while contributing to a positive, collaborative and high-performing culture.
