Rider Levett Bucknall (RLB) Victoria is seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor or Associate to join a dedicated data centres team. You will bring deep cost management expertise, deliver high-quality cost plans, and mentor colleagues across the project lifecycle.

The role focuses on data centre projects, building services heavy work, and client relationship development, with a clear path for professional growth within a global consultancy.

Competenze

• 5+ years’ experience in cost management/quantity surveying, including at least 2 years in data centres.
• Extensive knowledge of building services–heavy projects and direct procurement items.
• Experience across the full project lifecycle (pre‑ and post‑contract).
• A tertiary qualification in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, Engineering, or similar.
• Strong ability to mentor and provide direction to others.

The Opportunity:

An exceptional opportunity exists for an experienced Quantity Surveyor or Associate – Data Centres role at RLB. This role aims to support and a highly specialised sector team within a globally respected construction and property consultancy.

This is a role for a professional who combines deep technical expertise in cost management and quantity surveying with an ability to share and develop the knowledge of others. The role would be suited to someone who is keen to develop their client relationship building skills.

About You:

You are an accomplished quantity surveyor with a strong reputation in the data centre area, known for your technical credibility and ability to deliver high quality outcomes within specified deadlines.

You will bring:

• 5 + years’ experience in cost management / quantity surveying, including at least 2 years in data centres
• Extensive knowledge of building services–heavy projects and direct procurement items
• Proven experience delivering services across the full project lifecycle (pre‑and post‑contract)
• A relevant tertiary qualification in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, Engineering, or similar
• Strong ability to mentor and provide direction to others
• A proactive and self-motivated approach to the delivery of work
