Rider Levett Bucknall in North Sydney is seeking a Quantity Surveyor to deliver end-to-end cost management across complex building services projects, including cost plans, estimates and post-contract services.

You will support senior client-facing teams, manage multiple workstreams, and contribute to client relationships on major domestic and global projects. AIQS/RICS accreditation viewed favourably and lots of learning opportunities.

Currently recruiting for a Quantity Surveyor looking to join our team in North Sydney.

The Role:

The Quantity Surveyor is responsible for the delivery of quantity surveying services to our clients across all sectors. This role will manage work required for clients including but not limited to; estimates, cost plans, bills of quantities, post contract & quantity surveying services. They will support the Director or Associate responsible for clients and provide specialist knowledge to ensure the maintenance & development of strong relationships.

This role offers the opportunity to work on some of the most complex and fast-paced projects in the construction sector, supporting major domestic and global clients.

About You:

• Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor locally in Australia
• Strong knowledge of cost management principles across complex building services-heavy projects
• Excellent stakeholder management and client-facing communication skills
• The ability to manage multiple workstreams in a fast-paced delivery environment
• Experience working on projects involving high-voltage services, mechanical and electrical systems, or critical infrastructure

KEY ATTRIBUTES

• Local Quantity Surveying / Cost Estimation experience
• A positive, proactive, self-starting attitude with excellent problem-solving abilities
• High proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint)
• Clear and effective communication skills
• A collaborative mindset and ability to work across multiple teams & with different clients
• A keen eye for detail and data accuracy
• Professional discretion and sound judgement
• Ability to mentor & share knowledge with less experienced employees
• Relevant tertiary qualifications in either Quantity Surveying or Construction Management
• AIQS / RICS accredited candidates will be highly regarded
• Eligibility to work in Australia unrestricted
