Job summary

Laing O'Rourke in Melbourne is seeking an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to join the Eastern Freeway - Burke to Tram Alliance project. This role offers great career prospects with a privately-owned tier 1 constructor and international engineering enterprise.

You will deliver commercial requirements, prepare progress claims, advise on contractual issues, and submit reports to prescribed timescales. You will review changes, manage cost reports, and liaise with stakeholders across large-scale

Qualifications

• Must have a tertiary qualification in Quantity Surveying, Engineering or Commercial Law.
• MRICS membership or active progress toward MRICS is preferred.
• Experience in large-scale infrastructure, construction, rail or heavy industrial environments.
• Strong contractual, financial and reporting capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Deliver commercial requirements of the project.
• Prepare and submit progress claims and ensure timely payment.
• Advise project management on contractual issues and initiate correspondence.
• Prepare, review and submit reports to prescribed timescales (cost and equipment).
• Review change management opportunities.
