Job summary

Laing O’Rourke in Melbourne is seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join the Eastern Freeway – Burke to Tram Alliance project. This role sits within a privately-owned tier 1 constructor and international engineering enterprise, offering a strong platform for career progression on a high-profile infrastructure program.

You will manage procurement, subcontract input, variation claims and cost reporting, working closely with engineering and construction teams to deliver time and money

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management or related field.

Responsibilities

• Assist with subcontractor procurement and input into contracts.
• Prepare and submit progress claims and ensure timely payment.
• Manage subcontract interim payments and final accounts.
• Process variations and entitlement claims for time and money.
• Prepare, review and submit reports within prescribed timescales.
• Review change management and advise on contractual issues.

Education

Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying
