Acuity Australia is seeking a highly skilled Quantity Surveyor to join our Sydney team on major infrastructure programmes. You will lead cost management and contract administration across projects from roads to tunnels, working directly with clients and project teams.

Qualifications

• Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management or related discipline (AIQS or RICS preferred).
• 5+ years experience in quantity surveying, cost management or contract administration on construction or infrastructure projects.
• Proficiency in cost planning, measurement, cost reporting and forecasting.
• Proficiency in Excel and cost estimating software such as CostX.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review estimates, cost plans, budgets, cash flow forecasts and cost reports.
• Undertake measurement and quantification to support estimates, tenders and valuations.
• Provide contract administration, including progress claims, payment certificates, variations, notices and contractual correspondence.
• Assess and value variations and change, and maintain change and risk registers.
• Manage subcontractor packages, including tender evaluations, progress claims and final accounts.
• Support procurement, tender documentation and tender evaluations.
• Identify and report commercial risk and entitlement under contract.
• Support the preparation and assessment of extension of time, variation and compensation event claims.
• Build strong working relationships with clients and project teams.
