Job summary

WT (Australia) is seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor in its Perth office to join a growing team handling high‑profile engagements across the construction and infrastructure sectors. The role focuses on estimating, planning, cost management and timely financial reporting to maximise value for clients.

Qualifications

• Relevant tertiary qualification in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management or related field.
• Extensive experience in cost estimating and planning software, CostX.
• Experience managing a broad range of build projects.
• RICS/AIQS accreditation highly regarded.
• Understanding of the full project life cycle from conception to post‑project review.

Responsibilities

• Liaising with clients, architects and main contractors.
• Identifying and facilitating new business opportunities.
• Budgeting, cost checks and value engineering.
• Tender evaluations and analysis; contract negotiations.
• Cash flow planning and procurement; cost reporting.
• Valuation of variations; final account reporting; claims handling.
