Job summary

6Points is undertaking a major transport infrastructure project in South East Queensland and seeks a Senior QS/Contracts Administrator to lead the commercial management of significant packages, advising on entitlement, risk, forecast and negotiation strategy. Australian experience is required and relocation packages are on offer.

You will oversee procurement strategy, tender evaluation and contract formation for major packages, administer complex variations and claims, review cost-to-complete

Qualifications

• 8+ years' contractor-side commercial experience on major infrastructure, including complex claims.
• Degree in quantity surveying, construction management, law, engineering or a related discipline.
• Strong knowledge of head-contract and subcontract administration in a delivery environment.
• Working knowledge of Queensland security-of-payment requirements.

Responsibilities

• Lead procurement strategy, tender evaluation and contract formation for major or high-risk packages.

• Review cost-to-complete, cash flow, contingency, claims exposure and package risk.

A major transport infrastructure project (valued at more than $1 billion) is underway across South East Queensland, delivering complex rail, station and civil works. Having won numerous major projects in Queensland in the past 12 months, the head contractor is seeking a Senior QS / Contracts Administrator to lead commercial administration of significant packages and advise on entitlement, risk, forecast and negotiation strategy.

• Lead procurement strategy, tender evaluation and contract formation for major or high-risk packages
• Administer complex variation, delay, disruption, access and latent-condition matters
• Review cost-to-complete, cash flow, contingency, claims exposure and package risk

What We're Looking For
