Job summary

The Quality, Health, Safety & Environment (QHSE) Systems Auditor role within the Future Generation Joint Venture (FGJV) on Snowy 2.0 in NSW involves planning and conducting internal, supplier and subcontractor QHSE audits in line with the FGJV Audit Program.

You will bring a Lead Auditor for ISO 9001:2015, 10+ years QHSE experience on large projects, and strong audit and reporting skills, plus familiarity with AS/NZS standards and audit software.

Qualifications

• Certified Lead Auditor for AS/NZS ISO 9001:2015.
• Minimum 10 years’ experience in QHSE management on large-scale construction projects.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in QHSE management system auditing and Tier 1 and Tier 2 supplier/subcontractor auditing.
• Demonstrable knowledge of AS/NZS and International standards for Quality Management Systems and quality audits (ISO 9001, 19011, 10013, 31000, 27001, 45001, 14001).
• Proficiency in using proprietary audit software and MS Office for audit planning and execution.

Responsibilities

• Conduct planned audits in alignment with the QHSE audit program and quality audit procedure.
• Provide QHSE function with timely and comprehensive quality audit data for QHSE reporting purposes.
• Guide and support FGJV employees and client QHSE function on audit-related matters.
• Support corrective action processes, including following up on identified non-conformances, workplace inspections and reporting on outcomes and system effectiveness.
• Act in a consultative capacity where changes in plant, methods machinery, insurance cover, product or employee development are considered.
