Job summary

The Future Generation Joint Venture (FGJV) seeks an Environmental Coordinator to drive day-to-day HSE governance and site support for the Snowy 2.0 project in NSW. You will maintain environmental approvals, communicate requirements across the project team, and integrate them into the EMS.

Key duties include managing environmental plans, audits, training needs, and coordinating with regulators and stakeholders to ensure compliance and safe operations on site.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Management, or related field.
• Strong knowledge of environmental law and regulations.
• Drivers’ License.
• White Card.

Responsibilities

• Provide advice and support to ensure compliance with statutory FGJV and client environmental obligations.
• Implement Environmental plans and subsidiary systems documentation.
• Communicate Environmental issues, standards, and procedures.
• Assist in developing and maintaining the Area Environmental Inspection and Audit Schedule.
• Undertake Internal, SHL & External Environmental Audits.
• Provide support to the Area Site Environment team and ensure HSSE resources.
• Identify environmental training requirements and coordinate training.
• Collect regulatory documentation from subcontractors and manage waste records.
