Job summary

Visual Lease is seeking a Senior QA Engineer to drive quality across product and engineering teams, acting as a quality coach and advocate for shift-left testing practices. You will embed quality from the earliest stages of development and guide teams in adopting effective testing strategies.

Based in Sydney or Melbourne, you will design automated testing frameworks for web, API, and mobile platforms, mentor engineers on QA best practices, and help integrate automated testing and quality gates

Qualifications

Requires a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or related field.
Extensive experience implementing shift-left and quality assistance testing methodologies in agile product development.
Strong expertise across frontend, backend, API, mobile, and end-to-end testing with Cypress, Playwright, Cucumber, Postman and related tooling.

Responsibilities

Champion shift-left testing practices and embed quality throughout the software development lifecycle.
Design, implement, and maintain automated testing frameworks across web, API, and mobile platforms.
Drive effective testing strategies balancing unit, integration, API, end-to-end, accessibility, and exploratory testing.
