Job summary

Sirius, an Australian-owned B2B SaaS company, is expanding its Canberra QA team. This fully office-based role offers ownership of the testing function within a modern C# / .NET environment.

You will design a scalable automation framework (UI and API) from scratch, drive shift-left practices, mentor developers, and integrate tests into CI/CD pipelines with Docker and Bitbucket. Expect a collaborative leadership role across Agile teams.

Qualifications

• Senior QA or SDET with a track record of building test frameworks from scratch.
• Strong coding in C# / .NET and experience with UI and API automation.
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines and containerization (Docker).
• Excellent stakeholder communication and mentoring abilities.
• Willingness to work onsite five days a week in Canberra.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement a long-term test automation strategy.
• Build, scale, and maintain a UI and API testing framework from scratch using C# and Selenium.
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (Docker, Bitbucket, etc.).
• Drive backend validation using REST API tools and libraries (Postman, RestSharp).
• Develop performance benchmarking and load testing suites (e.g., JMeter).
• Collaborate with cross-functional Agile teams to embed quality early in SDLC.
• Monitor quality metrics, identify gaps, and support UAT for quarterly releases.
