Job summary

Profusion Group is seeking a Senior Python Engineer to join a finance-focused data technology team in Melbourne. The role involves full stack Python development and strong AWS, with collaboration across business stakeholders.

You will work in a hybrid setup (WFH x3, CBD x2) on a stable 12+ month contract with potential extensions or a permanent opportunity.

Qualifications

• Outstanding full stack Python experience.
• Excellent AWS experience.
• Strong SQL skills.
• Degree in Business, Commerce, Finance, Accounting and / or similar.
• Outstanding communication and stakeholder skills.
• DevOps, CI/CD, Git preferred.
• Finance / banking or similar ideal.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate in a team of high performing, analytical financial data experts and other business stakeholders.
• Develop and maintain Full Stack Python solutions on AWS for financial data workloads.
