Job summary

Dipole Group is seeking a highly skilled Python Developer to join our engineering team in Sydney. The role focuses on building scalable backend services, REST APIs, and cloud-native applications.

You will design, develop, test, and optimize Python applications, work with FastAPI, AWS services, and cross-functional teams in an Agile environment to deliver high-quality software solutions.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of hands-on Python development experience with production-grade apps.
• Experience building and consuming REST APIs with FastAPI or similar frameworks (Flask/Django REST).
• Experience deploying on AWS and using services like Lambda, S3, ECS, RDS.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain high-performance Python applications.
• Build, maintain, and optimize RESTful APIs using FastAPI or similar.
• Develop cloud-native apps utilizing AWS services.
• Collaborate with architects, DevOps, and infra teams to deploy on AWS.
• Write clean, well-documented code following best practices.
• Work with Git for version control and collaboration.
• Design and optimize SQL queries for relational databases.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and enhance existing applications.
• Participate in code reviews and continuous improvement.
• Work in an Agile environment with cross-functional teams.
