Qualifications

• 2+ years of professional software development experience.
• Strong understanding of object-oriented programming and software engineering principles.
• Experience building REST APIs and backend applications, working with SQL and relational databases.
• Experience with Git and developing automated tests.
• Familiarity with Django, Flask, FastAPI, PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, Redis, Docker, cloud platforms, CI/CD, asynchronous processing, message queues, microservices, or Agile/Scrum environments is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain reliable Python applications and backend services.
• Build scalable RESTful APIs and integrations with databases, third-party platforms, and external services.
• Develop clean, reusable, well-documented code following modern engineering standards.
• Create automated unit, integration, and functional tests.
• Troubleshoot production incidents and improve system reliability.
• Contribute to performance optimization, security improvements, CI/CD automation, and deployment processes.
• Participate in code reviews and collaborate with product, engineering, QA, and other stakeholders.
• Help shape technical standards, documentation, architecture, and development best practices.
